By downloading or using Prompt Coach Lite ("the app"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don't agree, don't use the app. Because the app is distributed through the Apple App Store, Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA) also applies, and where it conflicts with these terms, the terms that give you greater protection govern.
Prompt Coach Lite takes rough prompts you write and rewrites them into cleaner prompts tailored to Claude Haiku 4.5 or Claude Sonnet 5, and explains the prompt-engineering techniques it applied. It is a free, reduced version of "Prompt Coach," a separate app on the App Store with a larger model set and additional features. All coaching runs on your device; the app makes no network requests except when you tap a link to the paid app's App Store listing. Prompt Coach Lite is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Anthropic.
You may use the app on devices you own or control, for your own personal or internal business use. You may not resell, redistribute, reverse-engineer, or sublicense the app.
Prompt Coach Lite is entirely free. It contains no in-app purchases, no subscriptions, and no paywall inside the app. Any link to "Prompt Coach" opens a separate App Store listing and a separate transaction, if you choose to make one — Apple handles that payment, not this app.
The app helps you improve prompts, but prompt quality and any model output are inherently variable. The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that a rewritten prompt will produce any particular result. You are responsible for reviewing prompts before relying on them.
You agree not to use the app to create prompts or content that are unlawful, or that violate Anthropic's usage policies or any applicable law. The app does not assist in bypassing AI safety systems.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the app will not exceed $10.
We may update these terms; the current version will be published here and in the app under Settings → Legal with a new effective date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
