By downloading or using Claude Prompt Coach ("the app"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don't agree, don't use the app. Because the app is distributed through the Apple App Store, Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA) also applies, and where it conflicts with these terms, the terms that give you greater protection govern.
The app takes rough prompts you write and rewrites them into cleaner prompts tailored to a Claude model you choose — Haiku 4.5, Sonnet 5, Opus 5, Opus 4.8, or Fable 5 — and explains the prompt-engineering techniques it applied. All coaching runs on your device; the app makes no network requests. Prompt Coach is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Anthropic.
Your one-time purchase grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on devices you own or control, for your own personal or internal business use. You may not resell, redistribute, reverse-engineer, or sublicense the app.
The app is sold for a single up-front price. There are no in-app purchases, subscriptions, or recurring charges. Apple handles all payment and refunds under its own policies.
The app helps you improve prompts, but prompt quality and any model output are inherently variable. The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that a rewritten prompt will produce any particular result, that model output will be accurate, or that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free. You are responsible for reviewing prompts and outputs before relying on them.
You agree not to use the app to create prompts or content that are unlawful, or that violate Anthropic's usage policies or any applicable law. The app does not assist in bypassing AI safety systems.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app will not exceed the amount you paid for it.
We may update these terms; the current version will be published here and in the app under Settings → Legal with a new effective date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
